Jeffrey M. Lasman, the owner of Lasman Law Firm, P.A. with offices in Brandon, Sun City Center, Tampa and Lakeland, assists individual clients in personal estate planning for the preservation and orderly transmission of assets to their chosen beneficiaries. Planning of this nature focuses on providing for family members, protecting the assigned assets and ensuring professional management of these assets. Personal estate planning takes into account the impact of federal income, estate, gift and generation-skipping taxes on the passage of wealth. It frequently means establishing trusts for a surviving spouse, as well as trusts for children and grandchildren, to achieve tax savings. Mr. Lasman has represented a number of individuals in the transfer of their assets at substantially reduced estate and gift costs. Mr. Lasman graduated with honors, cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School in Boston, Massachusetts. Mr. Lasman also participated in the LL.M. taxation program at Boston University School of Law, and received his B.A., magna cum laude, from University of Central Florida. Mr. Lasman is a member of the Florida Bar (Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section), the Massachusetts Bar, the American Bar Association (Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section), and the Tampa Bay Estate Planning Council. He is admitted to practice before both the local, federal, and state courts.

In addition to representing individual clients, Mr. Lasman advises personal representatives and trustees in the administration of estates and trusts and in planning and implementing simple as well as complex transfers. He also interprets and analyzes wills and trusts for numerous trust and prominent financial institutions, as well as overseeing the administration of estate and trusts. Mr. Lasman also speaks frequently at seminars on various estate and tax planning strategies.
